Zeng Xu Yuan started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Poetass FC booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arlindo Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalle Billberg in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalle Billberg in the 10th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Arlindo Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Zeng Xu Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Poetass FC's Kalle Billberg got a free kick in the 13th minute. Arlindo Guedes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kalle Billberg's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. José Maria Goiano made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Antônio Carlos Bueno sent off a good shot on target. Zeng Xu Yuan kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Arlindo Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeng Xu Yuan in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Antônio Carlos Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeng Xu Yuan in the 34th minute of play. Antônio Carlos Bueno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but José Maria Goiano made a huge save. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeng Xu Yuan in the 38th minute of play. Marcos Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd match minute, Poetass FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Bronicki to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, AF CERRADO got a penalty, and Jaime Pombal placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

55 minutes into the match, Witalis Brysz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arlindo Guedes. AF CERRADO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witalis Brysz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Róbson Bittencourt hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Arlindo Guedes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 65th minute Jon-Egil Schjelderup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes got control of the ball when Kalle Billberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Maria Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Lucas in the 73rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Maria Goiano saved Poetass FC from getting behind. Arlindo Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon-Egil Schjelderup in the 85th minute of play. Murilo Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Goiano having to interfere. AF CERRADO made a substitution. Dennis Contaldi replaced Róbson Bittencourt. Poetass FC made a substitution. Váldson Miranda replaced Jon-Egil Schjelderup. Váldson Miranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Arlindo Guedes made a huge save. 93 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Kalle Billberg came free, but Arlindo Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Kalle Billberg put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Arlindo Guedes. The AF CERRADO supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Poetass FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Poetass FC.
