The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeng Xu Yuan got free with Luiz Corrêa in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Poetass FC's Witalis Brysz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Sten Andrejević's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Maria Goiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. If Sten Andrejević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luiz Corrêa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kalle Billberg in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Witalis Brysz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Witalis Brysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeng Xu Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Poetass FC were the better team. Poetass FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
