Jefferson de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Alagoano in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Vinicio Junior notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Araçá F. C.'s Jefferson de Moraes. Jefferson de Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the match, Araçá F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Alagoano came free, but Jefferson de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jenipapo SC were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Araçá F. C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arsenio Gipuzkoa took the corner. Zé Carlos Monteiro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Zé Carlos Monteiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jefferson de Moraes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Aníbal Alagoano scored 0-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jefferson de Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jefferson de Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vinicio Junior's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Junior in the 22nd minute of play forced Araçá F. C.'s goalkeeper Jefferson de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jefferson de Moraes came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Vinicio Junior. But to his dismay, Vinicio Junior quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. If Aníbal Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jefferson de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Arsenio Gipuzkoa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jefferson de Moraes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jefferson de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Alagoano in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Alagoano in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jefferson de Moraes saved Araçá F. C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 36th minute of play forced Araçá F. C.'s goalkeeper Jefferson de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Araçá F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Alagoano came free, but Jefferson de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aníbal Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Joélson de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Araçá F. C.'s Jefferson de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 43rd minute of play. Jenipapo SC's Raphael Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aníbal Alagoano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Jefferson de Moraes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Aníbal Alagoano sped through Araçá F. C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jefferson de Moraes. Araçá F. C.'s Paulo José de Andrade was substituted for Leonel Leão. Araçá F. C.'s Manfredo Pinheiro was substituted for Nilmar Vieira. 80 minutes into the match, Vinicio Junior had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jefferson de Moraes. Araçá F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinicio Junior was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Aníbal Alagoano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Jefferson de Moraes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aníbal Alagoano in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jefferson de Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfredo Pinheiro in the 88th minute of play. If Raphael Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Jefferson de Moraes managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Araçá F. C. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Oswaldo Maciel hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Jenipapo SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Araçá F. C..
