The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. José Maria Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the game, Poetass FC's Zeng Xu Yuan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Eduardo dos Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Poetass FC's José Maria Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto da Mata in the 11th minute of play. Luís Eduardo dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeng Xu Yuan in the 13th minute of the match. José Maria Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rei Messi in the 21st minute of play. Tommi Toivonen charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tommi Toivonen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Poetass FC booed when Corumbaense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommi Toivonen didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeng Xu Yuan in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Eduardo dos Santos saved Corumbaense F.C. from getting behind. Witalis Brysz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Eduardo dos Santos came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Poetass FC's Jon-Egil Schjelderup. But to his dismay, Jon-Egil Schjelderup quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luís Eduardo dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witalis Brysz in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, Poetass FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeng Xu Yuan to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goalkeeper José Maria Goiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Guerra. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalle Billberg in the 38th minute of play forced Corumbaense F.C.'s goalkeeper Luís Eduardo dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guto da Mata hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Witalis Brysz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poetass FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witalis Brysz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute, Abd al-Asis Aba-Even hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Corumbaense F.C.'s Zula Liberko got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 42 minutes into the match, Corumbaense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jon-Egil Schjelderup came free, but Luís Eduardo dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Guerra came free, but José Maria Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Witalis Brysz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Guto da Mata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kalle Billberg got free with Luís Eduardo dos Santos in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luka Modrić hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Luís Eduardo dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witalis Brysz in the 59th minute of play. Poetass FC were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Corumbaense F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jon-Egil Schjelderup took the corner. 64 minutes into the match, Corumbaense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Brysz came free, but Luís Eduardo dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Luís Eduardo dos Santos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Luís Eduardo dos Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeng Xu Yuan in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Jon-Egil Schjelderup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Poetass FC's Cleiton Carioca was substituted for Vicente Heidemann. Poetass FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oleg Semenov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 80th minute, Poetass FC's Jon-Egil Schjelderup dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. With a little luck, Corumbaense F.C.'s Luís Eduardo dos Santos got control of the ball when Jon-Egil Schjelderup tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jon-Egil Schjelderup could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Luís Eduardo dos Santos made a huge save. Poetass FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
