Talleres de Escalada's Jonny Saran managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zula Furtok in the 4 minute of the game. 8 minutes into the match, Real Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Xepe Godan came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Real Juniors getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Javi Pinola hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Real Juniors defense, Xepe Godan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alisson Becker. The Real Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alisson Becker should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Serafin Bernal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl. Serafin Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Marcos Acuña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alisson Becker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Real Juniors players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Talleres de Escalada were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Efe Suheyl to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Talleres de Escalada's Xepe Godan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alisson Becker. That made the score 0-4 after 77 minutes of play. The Talleres de Escalada players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
