Los Materos FC's Lazaros Kabantais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Judas Verón in the 7th minute of play. After 8 minutes of play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lazaros Kabantais was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goal looked a bit too open when Tincho Palermo came free, but Bernardo Raggio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Materos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tincho Palermo in the 13th minute. The corner led Los Materos FC's Haydar Genişyürek to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardo Raggio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Haydar Genişyürek put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bernardo Raggio. Bernardo Raggio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Larpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Bernardo Raggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tincho Palermo in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Materos FC's goalkeeper Lazaros Kabantais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Belgrano de Pibasog's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eustaquio Fortun in the 23rd minute. Belgrano de Pibasog's Eustaquio Fortun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lazaros Kabantais in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 30 minutes, Tincho Palermo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Materos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tincho Palermo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lazaros Kabantais made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Judas Verón sent off a good shot on target. Bernardo Raggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haydar Genişyürek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Eustaquio Fortun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute Haydar Genişyürek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Bernardo Raggio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Judas Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lazaros Kabantais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Materos FC reached it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haydar Genişyürek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Judas Verón took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lazaros Kabantais. Lazaros Kabantais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Los Materos FC's Eleuterio Rufio was substituted for Aaron Molina. Los Materos FC's Oier Lopez de Toro was substituted for Carlos Larpe. Lazaros Kabantais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Judas Verón in the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute of the game Erasmo Jaunzuria made a throw-in which Silvio Abadia played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tincho Palermo in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Raggio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardo Raggio was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Tincho Palermo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tincho Palermo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Garcia Morros replaced Silvio Abadia. Tincho Palermo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Raggio having to make a save. Bernardo Raggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tincho Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rdth minute of the game Iulian Ilinca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Materos FC's Lazaros Kabantais was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 96th minute Iulian Ilinca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lazaros Kabantais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
