Brujas KV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grégory Gardette was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Jean-Marie Pfaff yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Atletic Elooo's Iustin Zmărăndescu was substituted for Bernardino Abadie. Grégory Gardette might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean-Marie Pfaff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado Romero took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Mancaş. Clemente Mancaş dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Atletic Elooo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
