After 25 played minutes, Amboy FC's Wang Hai shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jean-Marie Pfaff came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Amboy FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Brujas KV's Pablo Roso got a free kick in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Octavio Rosio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ariel Mourelatos. Octavio Rosio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Ariel Mourelatos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry Styles in the 34th minute. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Amboy FC from getting a goal against them. Jean-Marie Pfaff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valerio Spadoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute.
