With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horacio Abajas in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kyle Robinson saved DS ACADEMY TEAM from getting behind. DS ACADEMY TEAM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Materos FC the free kick. After 47 played minutes DS ACADEMY TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Barnaba Jarocewicz. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ayberk Akgün made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, DS ACADEMY TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Marek to maneuver through the defense. DS ACADEMY TEAM's Ayberk Akgün got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariano Ugaitz hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Barnaba Jarocewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes DS ACADEMY TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Barnaba Jarocewicz. DS ACADEMY TEAM's Maciej Ciemiega was substituted for Dag Olofsson. DS ACADEMY TEAM made a substitution. Ayberk Akgün's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lazaros Kabantais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Kyle Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Furman in the 82nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ayberk Akgün's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lazaros Kabantais was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Konstanty Pacholewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lazaros Kabantais came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by DS ACADEMY TEAM's Ayberk Akgün. But to his dismay, Ayberk Akgün quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. DS ACADEMY TEAM's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
