Zakir Novruzov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Torres in the 14th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, YESHUA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denílson Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Qiyas Alşanov took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Serafino Jurdan to make any attempt to save it. Qiyas Alşanov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafino Jurdan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. David Torres's late challenge caught a U21 Azerbaijan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Torres helped the player get up and apologised. David Torres hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Zakir Novruzov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Coracera, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After taking down the ball on YESHUA F.C's corner Zé Pelé fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zakir Novruzov quite easily take care of the ball. In the 46th minute, Nurlan Salmanov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Azerbaijan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nurlan Salmanov to strike the kick off in the second half. YESHUA F.C's Serafino Jurdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cahangir Aliyev in the 51st minute of play. Zakir Novruzov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Dantas in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Nurlan Salmanov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafino Jurdan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When Ramiro Guerra fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YESHUA F.C's protests and gave Ramiro Guerra a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to YESHUA F.C getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ramiro Guerra hit a great ball. U21 Azerbaijan's Nurlan Salmanov got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The YESHUA F.C fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when YESHUA F.C's Zé Pelé looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zakir Novruzov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Serafino Jurdan came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Azerbaijan's Cahangir Aliyev. But to his dismay, Cahangir Aliyev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Zakir Novruzov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Zakir Novruzov made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Coracera in the 80th minute. Serafino Jurdan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elbrus Qämbärov in the 88th minute of the match. Nurlan Salmanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Jurdan having to interfere. YESHUA F.C's attentive Nilmar Munhoz managed to snatch the ball when Toğrul Haqverdiyev made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. U21 Azerbaijan walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
