In the 19th minute John Coracera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zakir Novruzov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafino Jurdan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nurlan Salmanov in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, John Coracera managed to get in a good position for a shot. YESHUA F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but John Coracera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zakir Novruzov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. U21 Azerbaijan had played much better football throughout.
