Kuuno Mari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esra Breidert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. With an all-out effort, FC Traktor Götz's Tiit Jaas threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximilian Obst, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kuuno Mari charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
