The audience thought a goal was coming when Laureano Olayo got free with Amador Iratxo in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute of the match, Gilberto Astigar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amador Iratxo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Laureano Olayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Amador Iratxo made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Justino Chucho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amador Iratxo, passed just outside the right post. 39 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goalkeeper Amador Iratxo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justino Chucho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Baladi in the 41st minute of play forced Depor Alex Return's goalkeeper Cirilo Peyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Hugo Lain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristo Leocadio was the one to do the kick off. Justino Chucho took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amador Iratxo. Amador Iratxo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Teofilo Cordeara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Iratxo having to interfere. Gastres FC's Amador Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Chucho in the 64th minute of play. Hugo Lain hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Cordeara in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Iratxo saved Gastres FC from getting behind. Depor Alex Return's Jony Maidana was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amador Iratxo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Amador Iratxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Cordeara, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute Justino Chucho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justino Chucho in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amador Iratxo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Omar Bemabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Amador Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teofilo Cordeara hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Justino Chucho hit a great ball. Amador Iratxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Cordeara in the 90th minute of play. Amador Iratxo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justino Chucho went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Depor Alex Return booed when Gastres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Tadzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Cordeara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
