Luiz Fabiano Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Wenerdahl having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's Edin Džeko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mark Wenerdahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, Everardo Anaya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Grzegorz Siekierski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. GeRaÇãO-83's attentive Silas de Lima managed to snatch the ball when Severo Benvido made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. Grzegorz Siekierski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Anaya in the 19th minute of play. Mark Wenerdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led GeRaÇãO-83's Silas de Lima to fire away a dangerous shot which Mark Wenerdahl despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to GeRaÇãO-83 getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Paulinho Ralf hit a great ball. Grzegorz Siekierski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Cheche in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Paulinho Ralf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Wenerdahl was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edin Džeko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 45 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Everardo Anaya to make the kick off. Edelmiro Cheche kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 55 played minutes GeRaÇãO-83 got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Ralf. Grzegorz Siekierski was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Orlando Mouricio. GeRaÇãO-83's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
