A collision led to CF Scalonetos getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Severino Restu hit a great ball. CF Scalonetos's Ahmed Long proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save CF Scalonetos from getting a goal against them. Edin Džeko struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ahmed Long didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GeRaÇãO-83. GeRaÇãO-83's Medero Gadea got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edin Džeko got free with Ahmed Long in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Medero Gadea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CF Scalonetos's Ahmed Long played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edin Džeko in the 93rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Edin Džeko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmed Long. That made the score 0-3 in the 96 minute of play. GeRaÇãO-83's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
