After 10 minutes, Santo Amor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berutti FC and the Atlético Rio Cuarto players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Berutti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Amor to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Severiano Beltran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Celso Lonzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute Berutti FC were awarded a corner. Orlando Mouricio went to the cornerflag to take it. Severiano Beltran was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Clemente Nel kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Edelmiro Cheche took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celso Lonzo. Celso Lonzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. If Timoteo Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The wind increased when Santos Montel made the kick off in the second half. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Wilfredo Cruz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gaudencio Inko in the 51 minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Santos Montel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Rio Cuarto's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Montel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mark Wenerdahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Cheche recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Celso Lonzo. Edelmiro Cheche showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 65th minute, Timoteo Peru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Lonzo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Severiano Beltran scored 0-8 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celso Lonzo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute, Edelmiro Cheche fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Celso Lonzo was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Timoteo Peru capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Timoteo Peru really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. After 91 played minutes Berutti FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Eriz. After a rather tough play, Atlético Rio Cuarto's Clemente Nel got a free kick in the 96th minute. Berutti FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
