Mauro Tadzio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Depor Alex Return booed when Gastres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Tadzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gastres FC's zone, Laureano Olayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Txilar came out of the goal and Laureano Olayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cirilo Peyo was a little too slow when Federico Erramun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. Virgilio Txilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Chucho in the 27th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Santiago Rios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gastres FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Depor Alex Return the free kick. The supporters of Depor Alex Return booed when Gastres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Rios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgilio Txilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Chucho, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Gastres FC's Natalio Refugio in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Depor Alex Return's goalie prevented a goal. In the 38th minute, Mauro Tadzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doriva Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Gastres FC's Hugo Lain got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Justino Chuchos short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Virgilio Txilar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Justino Chucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Depor Alex Return's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Leocadio came free, but Cirilo Peyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Depor Alex Return's Justino Chucho got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Justino Chucho came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Depor Alex Return fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Chucho couldn't finish the play. Cirilo Peyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Erramun's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. A collision led to Gastres FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Martin Kauldi hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Doriva Pimenta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Txilar was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. The supporters of Gastres FC booed when Depor Alex Return was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Astigar didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natalio Refugio in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cirilo Peyo saved Depor Alex Return from getting behind. If Justino Chucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
