The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Snorlax FC's Tancredo Manguyague got control of the ball when Gilberto Bonadona tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victoriano Savier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Jesus Allu's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Snorlax FC were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Banda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mario Jesus Allu took the corner. In the 18th minute of the match Snorlax FC got a corner. Banda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Jesus Allu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mario Jesus Allu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Banda's Victoriano Savier did a great save. In the 19th minute of the match Snorlax FC got a corner. Banda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Jesus Allu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Benigno Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tancredo Manguyague having to interfere. In the 25th minute Florencio Rojas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Savier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Snorlax FC's Florencio Rojas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victoriano Savier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 29th minute, Mario Jesus Allu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes Snorlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Hernández. Florencio Rojas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Victoriano Savier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Jesus Allu in the 41st minute of play forced Banda's goalkeeper Victoriano Savier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Bonadona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tancredo Manguyague having to interfere. If Mario Jesus Allu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Snorlax FC's Tibalt Bruna was substituted for Florencio Rojas.

Mario Jesus Allu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Victoriano Savier made a huge save. Victoriano Savier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Aldana in the 57th minute of play. Banda's Victoriano Savier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Jesus Allu in the 58th minute of play. Victoriano Savier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Jesus Allu went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Banda's Victoriano Savier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szczepan Mazierz in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Tibalt Bruna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Bonadona in the 65th minute of play forced Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Tancredo Manguyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Jesus Allu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Snorlax FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Snorlax FC booed when Banda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Tripp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 minutes, Gilberto Bonadona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Banda and the Snorlax FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilberto Bonadona kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Tibalt Bruna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Mario Jesus Allu sped through Banda's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victoriano Savier. Snorlax FC's Jose Manuel Hernández shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Victoriano Savier but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Banda's zone, Tibalt Bruna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Savier came out of the goal and Tibalt Bruna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 95 played minutes Banda got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Milian.
