Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dionysis Stamatiou got the match started through his kick off. Oliver Blacksmith stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dionysis Stamatiou's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Oliver Blacksmith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marinos Valassakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by U21 Senegal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Konstantinos Psiloglou was slow to take the kick. During this time Amfithea Hotspur's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Konstantinos Psiloglou almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but U21 Senegal's Oliver Blacksmith did a great save. 11 minutes into the match, U21 Senegal's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Kavouroglou came free, but Oliver Blacksmith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, U21 Senegal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tristan Barton to maneuver through the defense. Oliver Blacksmith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionysis Stamatiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, Amfithea Hotspur's Omiros Poulakis got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Panos Kavouroglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dionysis Stamatiou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20thth minute of the game Dionysis Stamatiou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Senegal's Oliver Blacksmith was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marinos Valassakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Amfithea Hotspur's Konstantinos Psiloglou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oliver Blacksmith made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 27th minute, Marinos Valassakos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oliver Blacksmith was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dionysis Stamatiou in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliver Blacksmith prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oliver Blacksmith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantinos Psiloglou in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Senegal's zone, Marinos Valassakos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliver Blacksmith came out of the goal and Marinos Valassakos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliver Blacksmith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Triantis in the 44th minute of the match. U21 Senegal's Oliver Blacksmith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantinos Psiloglou in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to U21 Senegal getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Nigel Poynton hit a great ball. After 47 minutes, Dionysis Stamatiou made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. U21 Senegal's Oliver Blacksmith tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Hodges stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Amfithea Hotspur's Dionysis Stamatiou slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oliver Blacksmith. That made the score 0-6 after 52 minutes of play. Konstantinos Psiloglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Blacksmith having to interfere. When Marinos Valassakos came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Amfithea Hotspur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marinos Valassakos couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the game, Konstantinos Psiloglou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Oliver Blacksmith was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Konstantinos Psiloglou's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Oliver Blacksmith skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Amfithea Hotspur defense, Kirk Welch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valerios Paboulis. The Amfithea Hotspur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valerios Paboulis should have stopped the shot. U21 Senegal's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dionysis Stamatiou 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-8. The crowd rose to their feet as Amfithea Hotspur's Konstantinos Psiloglou slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oliver Blacksmith. That made the score 1-9 after 70 minutes of play. Marinos Valassakos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Oliver Blacksmith made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dionysis Stamatiou in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliver Blacksmith prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the match, Omiros Poulakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oliver Blacksmith. U21 Senegal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omiros Poulakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-10. In the 79thth minute of the game Dionysis Stamatiou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Senegal's Oliver Blacksmith was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Amfithea Hotspur's Dionysis Stamatiou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oliver Blacksmith. Oliver Blacksmith yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-11. Amfithea Hotspur's Marinos Valassakos got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Dionysis Stamatiou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amfithea Hotspur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-12. 93 minutes into the game, Argyris Miroforidis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oliver Blacksmith. Argyris Miroforidis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-14. The supporters of Amfithea Hotspur booed when U21 Senegal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tristan Barton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute, Dionysis Stamatiou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amfithea Hotspur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-15. When the match was over Amfithea Hotspur could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than U21 Senegal throughout the match.
