William Troisi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Komornicki in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Troisi saved Meerkats FC from getting behind. In the 22nd minute of the match Meerkats FC got a corner. SlaYerS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stephen Bonnici ran over to the corner to take the kick. Meerkats FC's Stephen Bonnici was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iwan Hodas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Stefan Komornicki put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of William Troisi. After a rather tough play, SlaYerS's Ludomil Solarek got a free kick in the 45th minute. Iwan Hodas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stephen Bonnici in the 46th minute. The supporters of Meerkats FC booed when SlaYerS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Polek didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to SlaYerS getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Bartosz Liberko hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, SlaYerS's goal looked a bit too open when Stephen Bonnici came free, but Iwan Hodas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Antoine Miggiani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Hodas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Komornicki in the 69th minute of play forced Meerkats FC's goalkeeper William Troisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SlaYerS's Czeslaw Wojtowicz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 70th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Meerkats FC's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Wojtowicz came free, but William Troisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arthur Teuma came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Meerkats FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Teuma couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd match minute, Meerkats FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Teuma to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 85 in the game by Stefan Komornicki from a close distance when the talented William Troisi managed to make a qualified save. Meerkats FC's players were relieved. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SlaYerS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
