Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabio Rapa started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Meerkats FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Stephen Bonnici hit a great ball. When Zbigniew Kalinowski came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Newcastle United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbigniew Kalinowski couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute Arthur Teuma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Kossakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Meerkats FC booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wlodzimierz Siwy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Wlodzimierz Siwy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newcastle United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ryan Mallia charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ryan Mallia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Ryan Mallia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute Arthur Teuma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Kossakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaw Nuszkowski to maneuver through the defense. Stephen Bonnici took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kajetan Kossakowski. Newcastle United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wlodzimierz Siwy in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of William Troisi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 46th minute Antoine Miggiani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Kossakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
William Troisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Zagrobelny, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Fabio Rapa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kajetan Kossakowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabio Rapa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 56th minute. William Troisi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Siwy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kajetan Kossakowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Rapa in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wlodzimierz Siwy in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck William Troisi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waclaw Zagrobelny in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Troisi saved Meerkats FC from getting behind. When Zbigniew Kalinowski fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newcastle United's protests and gave Zbigniew Kalinowski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute of the match Stephen Bonnici sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kajetan Kossakowski skillfully saved the ball. In the 86th minute, Meerkats FC's Fabio Rapa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2.
