In the 21st minute Eustaquio Jaizki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes VAMO ARRIBA got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Txomin. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Nalo during the 28th minute. Angelino Platon came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki. But to his dismay, Eustaquio Jaizki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 44th match minute, VAMO ARRIBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Txomin to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the VAMO ARRIBA defense, Eustaquio Jaizki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelino Platon. The VAMO ARRIBA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelino Platon should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
