The audience was convinced that Rogelio Jaen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Germano was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Rosendo Cutberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Rogelio Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Jaen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Germano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustaquio Jaizki to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Rojelio. 56 minutes into the match, Salvador Benitez notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano. Carlos Germano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Rogelio Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute.
