Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Palermo's Baldomiro Gamus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Eulalio Lano got a free kick in the 5th minute. Chacarita Jrs's Domingo Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Gamus in the 7th minute of play. Domingo Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Gamus in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chacarita Jrs's zone, Valentin Enekoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Diaz came out of the goal and Valentin Enekoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th match minute, Chacarita Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Ciano to maneuver through the defense. Domingo Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Enekoitz in the 20th minute of play. Palermo's Valentin Enekoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Isaac Esdras fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcial Dantae, passed just outside the right post. Jaime Oxel's late challenge caught a Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Oxel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, Chacarita Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Oxel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Palermo booed when Chacarita Jrs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Eskuin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niceto Martinez kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Domingo Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Ermano in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Gamus in the 48th minute of play forced Chacarita Jrs's goalkeeper Domingo Diaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaac Esdras to strike the kick off in the second half. Palermo's Eulalio Lano got his second yellow card of the match in the 52nd minute. The referee ordered Eulalio Lano off the ground. In the 52nd match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Lano to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Dantae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Esdras, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Baldomiro Gamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Domingo Diaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingo Diaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Gamus, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Marcial Dantae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Esdras in the 69th minute of the match. Domingo Diaz came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Palermo's Baldomiro Gamus. But to his dismay, Baldomiro Gamus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Domingo Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Gamus in the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chacarita Jrs's Clodoveo Beila got a free kick in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomiro Gamus got free with Domingo Diaz in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingo Diaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Gamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Nestor Eskuin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chacarita Jrs's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Eskuin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Dantae breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Palermo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
