The wind increased when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Cãlin Damaschin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cãlin Damaschin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Gora, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Denis Inestrosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cãlin Damaschin having to interfere. Roque Gora blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cãlin Damaschin having to make a save. Club Olimpia's Di Yang Lei suffered a fractured collar bone after 83 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 83 minutes into the game, Simon Gerbault was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
