With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Marquardt in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dong saved Deportivo Galicia from getting behind. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind 30 de diciembre's goalkeeper Angel Zakov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Alexander Marquardt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Marquardt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Dong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deportivo Galicia's supporters rose to their feet, but Svanbjörn von den Berg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Zakov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Svanbjörn von den Berg might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angel Zakov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Svanbjörn von den Berg ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to 30 de diciembre getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Luís Fernando Valladares hit a great ball. Svanbjörn von den Berg might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angel Zakov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Svanbjörn von den Berg in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Zakov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 de diciembre were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
