Juan Casaviella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bambang Sagala having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Juan Casaviella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 25 de Noviembre FBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Casaviella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute Marcelino Quinten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Coya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelino Quinten scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Coya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emiliano Lesardo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Baltasar Coya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de Merida FC. In the 25th minute Garci Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Coya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute Blagoy Gardakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Coya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Coya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Lesardo in the 29th minute of play. Baltasar Coya was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Estudiantes de Merida FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to 25 de Noviembre FBC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Xerardo Surga hit a great ball. Baltasar Coya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Lesardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With a little luck, 25 de Noviembre FBC's Baltasar Coya got control of the ball when Blagoy Gardakov tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
