Dario Wilhelm came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by VB-Team's Luís Caeiro. But to his dismay, Luís Caeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A hard shot 22 in the game by Gervásio Severiano from a close distance when the talented Dario Wilhelm managed to make a qualified save. Cascade Park West's players were relieved. In the 27th minute, Barlas Aydın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th match minute, Cascade Park West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoilo Doblas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Caeiro in the 31st minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Allen Dalton came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Cascade Park West fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allen Dalton couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Claude Joyner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cascade Park West fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Dario Wilhelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 41st minute of the match. If Allen Dalton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cascade Park West getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Claude Joyner hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim de Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joaquim de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Wilhelm having to interfere. 52 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim de Barros came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of VB-Team booed when Cascade Park West was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piotr Brzakala didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Gervásio Severiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Shao Kun Yuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Wilhelm. Cascade Park West's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shao Kun Yuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
