In the 14th minute of the game Dadá Macedo made a throw-in which Yuri Reis played forward. 15 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Reis came free, but Rodriguinho Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Femke Bol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Figueira SC FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Femke Bol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 27th minute of the match ATHLETICO PRaiano got a corner. Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Betão Marquez ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Vilhelm Skoog heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Femke Bol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Malin Koshkov was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Malin Koshkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Betão Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the ATHLETICO PRaiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Betão Marquez couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Deilmison van Basten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pastor Gitano came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodriguinho Sousa could save by the left post. Deilmison van Basten took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Femke Bol. Femke Bol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Heitor Maldini was substituted for Betão Marquez. 73 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Guimarães came free, but Rodriguinho Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Figueira SC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Yuri Reis hit a great ball. Femke Bol came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten. But to his dismay, Deilmison van Basten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. ATHLETICO PRaiano's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
