The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luiz Fabiano Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Bizard FC's Ademar Fernandes got control of the ball when Gervásio Severiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute Luís Caeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bizard FC's goalkeeper Ademar Fernandes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Enzo Pellecchia threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bizard FC's Guga Zaracho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gervásio Severiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ademar Fernandes made a huge save. Luiz Fabiano Sena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armindo Salgado having to make a save. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Bizard FC booed when VB-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shao Kun Yuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bizard FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Sena hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Bizard FC's Luiz Fabiano Sena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armindo Salgado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervásio Severiano in the 36th minute of play forced Bizard FC's goalkeeper Ademar Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Luiz Fabiano Sena made a precise shot to the right of Armindo Salgado. VB-Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After the first half Bizard FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Bizard FC made a substitution. Adriano Costa replaced Caco Damião. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Traian Hăvârneanu to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Traian Hăvârneanu in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ademar Fernandes saved Bizard FC from getting behind. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bizard FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Traian Hăvârneanu was slow to take the kick. During this time VB-Team's players had a chance to rest. VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ademar Fernandes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 56 minutes into the match, Bizard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Caeiro came free, but Ademar Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Caeiro in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ademar Fernandes saved Bizard FC from getting behind. Ademar Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Hăvârneanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armindo Salgado made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Luiz Fabiano Sena sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fabiano Sena. Luiz Fabiano Sena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Armindo Salgado made a huge save. Bizard FC's Ademar Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Caeiro in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute, VB-Team's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guga Zaracho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. VB-Team's Qiu Sheng Bang was substituted for Sandro Leitão. Ademar Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervásio Severiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arthur Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Guerra. VB-Team's Yu Ke Hong was substituted for Arthur Guerra. In the 94th match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Luís Caeiro scored 2-3 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ademar Fernandes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Bizard FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bizard FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
