Mikolaj Giertych who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Cazimir Angelescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Valentin Geambașu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikolaj Giertych could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Cazimir Angelescu made a huge save. Max Feldthaus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Cazimir Angelescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Cavad Lider threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hayalim Kedoshim's Boni Wisanggeni quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Enrique Gaur kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Laurențiu Pora got free with Kang Ying Hai in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
