Fabrício Falcão made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Antônio Carlos Bueno sent off a good shot on target. Murilo Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute Beto Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrício Falcão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antônio Carlos Bueno's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Arlindo Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Minchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arlindo Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorkil Husig in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Carlos Bueno to maneuver through the defense. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Minchev in the 25th minute of play. AF CERRADO's Marcos Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Jurupeba FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antônio Carlos Bueno fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Arlindo Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Evlogi Dzhumayski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes, Nestor Hermes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AF CERRADO and the Jurupeba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antônio Carlos Bueno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arlindo Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorkil Husig in the 52nd minute of the match. With a little luck, AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes got control of the ball when Beto Breckenfeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Jurupeba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Lucas came free, but Fabrício Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jurupeba FC's goalkeeper Fabrício Falcão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Martin Minchev took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Arlindo Guedes to make any attempt to save it. Arlindo Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Breckenfeld in the 61st minute of play. Martin Minchev scored 2-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arlindo Guedes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Martin Minchev took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Arlindo Guedes to make any attempt to save it. AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião was substituted for Marcos Paulista. Jurupeba FC made a substitution. Kuddusî Bozok replaced Yahya Al Bahar. AF CERRADO made a substitution. Felix Smits replaced Carlos Alberto Jacinto. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorkil Husig in the 75th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Arlindo Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evlogi Dzhumayski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Arlindo Guedes made a huge save. If Antônio Carlos Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The AF CERRADO fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when AF CERRADO's Antônio Carlos Bueno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 92nd minute of the match, Martin Minchev tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arlindo Guedes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Antônio Carlos Bueno struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Fabrício Falcão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AF CERRADO. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
