After 3 minutes, Björn-Torben Kappel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NECKER49 and the Caskinha Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Caskinha Esporte Clube booed when NECKER49 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn-Torben Kappel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Eduardo Tróia came free, but Maximino Hitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NECKER49's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Basilio Hegoi in the 21st minute. After taking down the ball on NECKER49's corner Tiburcio Argina fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leandro Neves quite easily take care of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Thor Vennerdal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Leandro Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riki Čapo in the 25th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, NECKER49's John Skytt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leandro Neves. Leandro Neves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 36 minutes into the match, Luiz Eduardo Tróia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximino Hitz. NECKER49's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Eduardo Tróia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Maximino Hitz came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Caskinha Esporte Clube's Luiz Eduardo Tróia. But to his dismay, Luiz Eduardo Tróia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Wang Sen Jian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Maximino Hitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Hitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when John Skytt made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Baleren Acedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caskinha Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baleren Acedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leandro Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Casanova in the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Jeronimo Elizardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd match minute, Caskinha Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. Leandro Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Casanova, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Leandro Neves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Riki Čapo went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. NECKER49's Salvador Bernat was substituted for Riki Čapo. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Iván Zamorano was substituted for Luiz Eduardo Tróia. Iván Zamorano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. NECKER49's Isidoro Fagondo was substituted for Silvano Casanova. If Gilberto dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iván Zamorano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Hitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute of the game Jeronimo Elizardo made a throw-in which Isidoro Fagondo played forward. Iván Zamoranos short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Maximino Hitz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leandro Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Bernat in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Caskinha Esporte Clube's Iván Zamorano got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Baleren Acedo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jeronimo Elizardo in the 94 minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goalkeeper Maximino Hitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iván Zamorano. After 97 minutes of play, Caskinha Esporte Clube's Iván Zamorano made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximino Hitz was left in no man's land by his defense there!
