After having played for 3 minutes, Nathan de Haan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nathan de Haan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Sinbosteros's Ariel Alfonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Eyague narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute Sinbosteros were awarded a corner. Samuel Jakobe went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sinbosteros's Samuel Jakobe to fire away a dangerous shot which Vicente Eyague despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 13th minute Karel Van Engelen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Tab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Sinbosteros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Laffitte to maneuver through the defense. If Ariel Alfonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Alfonso got free with Vicente Eyague in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nico Otamendi kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Sinbosteros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Eyague to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 32 minutes, Nathan de Haan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uriel Mikeldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mister Perfecto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Maximiliano Tab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tigre's goalkeeper Vicente Eyague, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Tigre's Vicente Eyague got control of the ball when Uriel Mikeldi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sinbosteros's Maximiliano Tab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Cachorro in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Tigre were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Cachorro made a kick off. Maximiliano Tab made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Jorge Cachorro sent off a good shot on target. Vicente Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Urko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Mikeldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Hector Urko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Tigre getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Nico Otamendi hit a great ball. Tigre made a substitution. Leonel Iratzeder replaced Karel Van Engelen. Thanks to some nice moves Julio Gaxan could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Maximiliano Tab however easily saved by the left post. Tigre's Osvaldo Geofredo was substituted for Sergey Charnikovich. With an all-out effort, Tigre's Maximiliano Tab threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Osvaldo Geofredo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 88th minute, Hector Urko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sinbosteros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 91 played minutes Sinbosteros got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Orlanda. After a rather tough play, Sinbosteros's Vicente Eyague got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
