When VERΛ's Luisito Caradaro in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aros Vandals's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8thth minute of the game Luisito Caradaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aros Vandals's Johan Lönn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th match minute, VERΛ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Tab to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lorenzo Louis in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johan Lönn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Johan Lönn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisito Caradaro went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Gunnar Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aros Vandals's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Lundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Bartoleme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ingvar Bergsten made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 27thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Delmar Bartoleme would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. VERΛ's Delmar Bartoleme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save VERΛ from getting a goal against them. Johan Lönn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Hegoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Caradaro in the 36th minute of play forced Aros Vandals's goalkeeper Johan Lönn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johan Lönn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Caradaro in the 38th minute of play. Delmar Bartoleme came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Aros Vandals's Ingvar Bergsten. But to his dismay, Ingvar Bergsten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lorenzo Louis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Lönn having to interfere. Johan Lönn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Caradaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Aros Vandals's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Caradaro came free, but Johan Lönn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Inge Glad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Aros Vandals's Kristoffer Sandberg got a free kick in the 50th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Luisito Caradaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. VERΛ's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisito Caradaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johan Lönn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. VERΛ's Paulo Gonzalez got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kristoffer Sandberg hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Paulo Gonzalez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VERΛ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Gonzalez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute Luisito Caradaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Lönn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Paulo Gonzalez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Johan Lönn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 69 minutes, Andy Dahlquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aros Vandals and the VERΛ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulo Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Lönn having to interfere. When Luisito Caradaro came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the VERΛ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Caradaro couldn't finish the play. Teobaldo Hegoi hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Paulo Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisito Caradaro in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johan Lönn saved Aros Vandals from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Gonzalez got free with Johan Lönn in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
