Gavino Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Mierzejewski in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Wasyl Sidorowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Andrzej Kapelski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
