Christoforos Tiganidis's late challenge caught a YellowStone's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christoforos Tiganidis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atletico de Madrid getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Christoforos Tiganidis hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Tobi Festersen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Frans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ilias Vidalis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico de Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilias Vidalis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Berglund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Giannis Dimitropoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes in the game, Ilias Vidalis dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 18th minute Giannis Dimitropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giannis Dimitropoulos in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Berglund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Segundo Maule got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erik Berglund quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Erik Berglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilias Vidalis in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Atletico de Madrid were awarded a corner. Segundo Maule went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Charis Sakalakis heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a little luck, Atletico de Madrid's Marcelo Frans got control of the ball when Muharem Senčar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, YellowStone's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Dimitropoulos came free, but Erik Berglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Segundo Maule made a great header on Atletico de Madrid's corner, it was just that YellowStone's Erik Berglund managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charis Sakalakis in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Berglund saved YellowStone from getting behind. After a rather tough play, YellowStone's Tit Antonić got a free kick in the 39th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ilias Vidalis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Frans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muharem Senčar in the 63rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ilias Vidalis got free with Erik Berglund in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Atletico de Madrid booed when YellowStone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tit Antonić didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68thth minute of the game Charis Sakalakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but YellowStone's Erik Berglund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, YellowStone's goalkeeper Erik Berglund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilias Vidalis. Branimir Turk struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Marcelo Frans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YellowStone. YellowStone's Sergej Kovačič was substituted for Tine Dermastja. 83 minutes into the match, YellowStone's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Dimitropoulos came free, but Erik Berglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Berglund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilias Vidalis in the 85th minute. YellowStone's Erik Berglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charis Sakalakis in the 87th minute of play.
