After 41 played minutes U21 Trinidad & Tobago got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Trinidad. 42 minutes into the match, U21 Trinidad & Tobago's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Benakis came free, but Natasha Persaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natasha Persaud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Kakotaridis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Neeshan Mottley fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The U21 Trinidad & Tobago fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natasha Persaud should have stopped the shot. Vaggelis Benakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Natasha Persaud made a huge save. Mortimer Rahamut kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Alketas Papantoniou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Pyrgetos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pyrgetos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
