The crowd rose to their feet as Legio X Eqvestris's Luis Navarro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Txatxu. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Ariel Gustau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Lluques in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Q. T. I. were awarded a corner. Eleuterio Nuno went to the cornerflag to take it. Q. T. I.'s Eleuterio Nuno was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ariel Gustau in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The coaching staff of Legio X Eqvestris protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Teodosio Farias had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ariel Gustau had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Eleuterio Nuno's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a left leg Ariel Gustau saved Legio X Eqvestris from getting behind. When Q. T.
