Marcial Roldanillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Paulo Txatxu made a huge save. Paulo Txatxu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 6th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Paulo Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Hondo in the 12th minute of play. Anibal Lluques spun around in front of the goal 13 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Pincha FC's goal. Carlos Quentin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anibal Lluques's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Horacio Dolfo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Carlos Quentin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Raymundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The supporters of Q. T. I. booed when Pincha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos-Salvador Bilardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Roldanillo in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pincha FC's Jorge Carrascal got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Julian Raymundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Roldanillo in the 34th minute of play. Carlos Quentin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Lluques, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Paulo Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Hondo in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Agustin Silvino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Paulo Txatxu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcial Roldanillo was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Marcial Roldanillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Txatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Txatxu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustin Silvino's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Q. T. I.'s Casimiro Guillelmus was substituted for Julian Raymundo. After a defensive mix-up in Q. T. I.'s zone, Marcial Roldanillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Txatxu came out of the goal and Marcial Roldanillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Roldanillo in the 59th minute of play forced Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Paulo Txatxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Victorio Hondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Txatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Txatxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Roldanillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Txatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Roldanillo in the 68th minute of the match. After 72 minutes of play, Pincha FC's Agustin Silvino made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Txatxu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Q. T. I.'s Faustino Txerran was substituted for Leopoldo Vermudo. Agustin Silvino scored 4-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Txatxu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pincha FC's German Merexildo was substituted for Agustin Silvino. After 83 minutes of play, Q. T. I.'s Faustino Txerran made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Quentin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pincha FC's Ramon-Angel Sadurni quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Anibal Lluques, made in the 91st minute of the game. Carlos Quentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Lluques in the 95th minute of play.
