Matías Patrone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guter Tobia's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Aves Negras got a corner. Los Delfines's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enrique Perico ran over to the corner to take the kick. Matías Patrone came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Aves Negras's Guter Tobia. But to his dismay, Guter Tobia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Oliver Bierhoff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcial Bakar having to make a save. Aves Negras's Marcial Bakar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Hilario Asteri threw the ball into play from the sideline. Aves Negras's Marten Descamps quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Matías Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guter Tobia in the 28th minute of play. Aves Negras's Marcial Bakar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Delfines's goalkeeper Matías Patrone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dani Cáceres got free with Marcial Bakar in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Los Delfines's Oliver Bierhoff in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aves Negras's goalie prevented a goal. Aves Negras's Marcial Bakar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Aves Negras from getting a goal against them. Guter Tobia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matías Patrone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guter Tobia, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

With a little luck, Los Delfines's Matías Patrone got control of the ball when Guter Tobia tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, Raimundo Padro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Los Delfines booed when Aves Negras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Padro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Oliver Bierhoff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcial Bakar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Los Delfines made a substitution. Lucas Urbez replaced Oliver Bierhoff. In the 67th minute Lucas Urbez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Bakar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match Los Delfines got a corner. Aves Negras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucas Urbez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Los Delfines's Lucas Urbez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcial Bakar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Ambrosio Bartolome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Urbez might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Bakar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Urbez ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcial Bakar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Jerrold in the 81st minute of the match. Matías Patrone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Artal, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Los Delfines's Lucas Urbez in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Los Delfines's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Urbez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Bakar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute Clarence Seedorf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Delfines were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Aves Negras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucas Urbez took the corner. Andrey Kapitanski tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Marcial Bakar. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 97th minute. Los Delfines were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Aves Negras for a fine match.
