In the 3rd minute, Zeledon Tabb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Sergio Mustafa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pierluigi Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Albino Olayo got a throw-in 6 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Zeledon Tabb. Sergio Mustafa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pierluigi Buffon having to make a save. In the 11th minute Sergio Mustafa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierluigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magne Söderberg made in the 16th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sergio Mustafa however managed to control. Pierluigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Mustafa, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Seb Gentiletti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Lebas in the 25th minute of play. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after KaoS Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Seb Gentiletti took the corner. After taking down the ball on C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's corner Marcos Senesi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pierluigi Buffon quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Igor Lebas put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alfredinho Gerber. Marcos Senesi hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Lebas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfredinho Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Hargrave in the 55th minute of play. In the 55thth minute of the game Noel Hargrave who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Sergio Mustafa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sergio Mustafa came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pierluigi Buffon could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Lebas in the 61st minute of play forced C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalkeeper Alfredinho Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierluigi Buffon was a little too slow when Sergio Mustafa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 1-2. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO made a substitution. Salvador Romano replaced Sergio Mustafa. Pierluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Nikola in the 67th minute of play. KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Nikola in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Nikola in the 74th minute of play forced KaoS Futbol Club's goalkeeper Pierluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Nikola came free, but Pierluigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KaoS Futbol Club's Andres Baresi was substituted for León Ponzio. After 79 minutes KaoS Futbol Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Seb Gentiletti who took care of the corner kick. In the 81st minute C.U.E. DE COMERCIO were awarded a corner. Seb Gentiletti went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcos Senesi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 84th minute, Salvador Romano fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 86 minutes in the game Petter Danielsson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Teodoro Nikola. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvador Romano got free with Pierluigi Buffon in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 89 in the game by Salvador Romano from a close distance when the talented Pierluigi Buffon managed to make a qualified save. KaoS Futbol Club's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Salvador Romano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pierluigi Buffon. That made the score 1-4 after 96 minutes of play.
