Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Santa Lucia de Merlo from getting a goal against them. In the 7th minute, Kong Chang Zheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Santa Lucia de Merlo getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Levan Poggenborg hit a great ball. Florentino Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Mustafa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling M. Agus Young in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredinho Gerber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Mustafa came free, but Florentino Herauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santa Lucia de Merlo's attentive Kong Chang Zheng managed to snatch the ball when Marcos Senesi made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Santa Lucia de Merlo from getting a goal against them. Marcos Senesi made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Santa Lucia de Merlo's Carlos Cubero. Florentino Herauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Mustafa in the 28th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Santa Lucia de Merlo got a freekick which was hit by Levan Poggenborg. Sergio Mustafa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredinho Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from M. Agus Young in the 39th minute of the match. Alfredinho Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from M. Agus Young, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

55 minutes into the match, Sergio Mustafa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florentino Herauso. Santa Lucia de Merlo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sergio Mustafa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Francisco Taveira was substituted for Xian J.J.. 60 minutes into the game, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Salvador Romano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florentino Herauso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 64th minute, Teodoro Nikola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florentino Herauso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Florentino Herauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Taveira in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goal looked a bit too open when Polo Quinteros came free, but Alfredinho Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Salamon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alfredinho Gerber firmly grabbed it by the left post. 77 minutes into the match, Teodoro Nikola notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso. Florentino Herauso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Florentino Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Nikola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Salvador Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bosse Spendrup charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bosse Spendrup the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Santa Lucia de Merlo defense, Salvador Romano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florentino Herauso. The Santa Lucia de Merlo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florentino Herauso should have stopped the shot.
