Florentino Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Grøtterud in the 6th minute of the match. Jonatan Eguzki made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when M. Agus Young sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute M. Agus Young shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Eguzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Herauso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Máximo Kirchner's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Jonatan Eguzki made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when M. Agus Young sent off a good shot on target. Máximo Kirchner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Florentino Herauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Kirchner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Máximo Kirchner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Eguzki was a little too slow when M. Agus Young got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Florentino Herauso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonatan Eguzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from M. Agus Young, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Levan Poggenborg kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, Unidad de Matanza's Martin Grøtterud made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florentino Herauso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Florentino Herauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Stehno, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Florentino Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Kirchner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waldemar Okopny kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Unidad de Matanza booed when Santa Lucia de Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bosse Spendrup didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and M. Agus Young made a kick off. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Santa Lucia de Merlo from getting a goal against them. Florentino Herauso made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Michal Stehno sent off a good shot on target. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Grøtterud in the 61st minute of play. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Polo Quinteros was substituted for M. Agus Young. Unidad de Matanza's Lotfi Ziadi was substituted for Michal Stehno. In the 64th minute of the match Unidad de Matanza got a corner. Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Waldemar Okopny ran over to the corner to take the kick. Florentino Herauso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lateef Raal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 67 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Bâru in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Herauso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Unidad de Matanza getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Lateef Raal hit a great ball. In the 84thth minute of the game Nestor Bâru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florentino Herauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Bâru in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Orlin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Pascal Som quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Polo Quinteros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonatan Eguzki having to make a save. Kong Chang Zheng made in the 92nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Polo Quinteros however managed to control. When the match was over Unidad de Matanza could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Santa Lucia de Merlo throughout the match.
