When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Fermin Dolfo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Napoleon Dziedelonis. After 9 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Calisto. After a defensive mix-up in Zuberbühler FC's zone, Fermin Dolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Napoleon Dziedelonis came out of the goal and Fermin Dolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basri İhtiyar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Baumer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 14 minutes, Olaf Gall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yalapa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olaf Gall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Florentino Lastur kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Basri İhtiyar. That made the score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. Florentino Lastur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Basri İhtiyar made a huge save. Zuberbühler FC were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Yalapa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abelardo Nardo took the corner. The corner led to Zuberbühler FC's Saul Lamberto getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Basri İhtiyar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Zuberbühler FC's Saul Baumer in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yalapa's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute, Saul Lamberto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Basri İhtiyar, passed just outside the right post. After some careless play in the Yalapa defense, Saul Baumer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basri İhtiyar. The Yalapa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basri İhtiyar should have stopped the shot. Venancio Calisto charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Venancio Calisto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Venancio Calisto hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Fermin Dolfo made the kick off in the second half. Yalapa's Leonardo Nogueira was substituted for Fermin Dolfo. Zuberbühler FC's Marciano Min was substituted for Florentino Lastur. Zuberbühler FC's Cirilo Ebardo was substituted for Saul Lamberto. In the 62nd match minute, Yalapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Gall to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Dziedelonis having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Min came free, but Basri İhtiyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Saul Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis got control of the ball when Samuel Tome tried to sneak it across the goal line. Napoleon Dziedelonis was a little too slow when Leonardo Nogueira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 2-2. Samuel Tome came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Napoleon Dziedelonis could save by the left post. 85 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Min came free, but Basri İhtiyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Napoleon Dziedelonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Ramond in the 87th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Ramond notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis. Napoleon Dziedelonis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zuberbühler FC's Venancio Calisto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Juan Edwardo, made in the 95th minute of the game. The Zuberbühler FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Yalapa's performance. The match ended with a win for Yalapa.
