Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Arnoldo Medina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palermo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alfredo Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from M. Agus Young in the 6th minute of play. Alfredo Joey made an important save on a dangerous shot by M. Agus Young in the 8th minute. In the 9th match minute, Santa Lucia de Merlo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by M. Agus Young to maneuver through the defense. Florentino Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Mino in the 10th minute of the match. M. Agus Young's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Joey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Santiago Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as M. Agus Young kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfredo Joey. That made the score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Medina in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernan Louis. Alfredo Joey made an important save on a dangerous shot by M. Agus Young in the 31st minute. Florentino Herauso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnoldo Medina's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Isaias Grove threw the ball into play from the sideline. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Pascal Som quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 36 minutes into the match, Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by M. Agus Young. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Medina in the 38th minute of play forced Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Florentino Herauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. M. Agus Young could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Alfredo Joey made a huge save. With a little luck, Palermo's Alfredo Joey got control of the ball when M. Agus Young tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, M. Agus Young had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Joey. Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that M. Agus Young was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Medina to make the kick off. Santa Lucia de Merlo made a substitution. Polo Quinteros replaced M. Agus Young. Palermo's William Bengtsson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ermegildo Salamon in the 67 minute of the game. Levan Poggenborg kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Florentino Herauso was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Saul Felo. In the 76th minute Polo Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Polo Quinteros in the 79th minute of the match. Florentino Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Chaime in the 84th minute of the match. William Bengtsson made in the 86th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arnoldo Medina. After some careless play in the Palermo defense, Polo Quinteros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Joey. The Palermo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Joey should have stopped the shot. Florentino Herauso came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Palermo's Arnoldo Medina. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Medina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Santa Lucia de Merlo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
