Palermo's Alfredo Joey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Palermo from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on Unidad de Matanza's corner Waldemar Okopny fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfredo Joey quite easily take care of the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nestor Bâru. Nestor Bâru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Joey having to make a save. Nestor Bâru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Alfredo Joey made a huge save. In the 11th match minute, Unidad de Matanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenni Skensved to maneuver through the defense. If Nestor Bâru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute Santiago Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Eguzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Isaias Grove in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Unidad de Matanza's Waldemar Okopny. In the 37th minute, Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfredo Joey. Alfredo Joey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nestor Bâru was the one to do the kick off. If Lateef Raal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnoldo Medina in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Eguzki saved Unidad de Matanza from getting behind. Unidad de Matanza's Michal Stehno was substituted for Nestor Bâru. Unidad de Matanza made a substitution. Máximo Kirchner replaced Lotfi Ziadi. After a rather tough play, Unidad de Matanza's Robert Zemeckis got a free kick in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Grøtterud came free, but Alfredo Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Stehno in the 62nd minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Unidad de Matanza's corner Freddy Quintyn fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfredo Joey quite easily take care of the ball. In the 64th minute, Michal Stehno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unidad de Matanza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The audience was convinced that Michal Stehno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Joey was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Palermo's Alfredo Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máximo Kirchner in the 69th minute of play. Alfredo Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Grøtterud in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes in the game, Michal Stehno dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Máximo Kirchner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Alfredo Joey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arnoldo Medina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonatan Eguzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Unidad de Matanza were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Palermo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martin Grøtterud took the corner. In the 82nd match minute, Unidad de Matanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Stehno to maneuver through the defense. Palermo's Patryk Wiater was substituted for Marcelino Chaime. Arnoldo Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jonatan Eguzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Kirchner came free, but Alfredo Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unidad de Matanza walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
