With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Herauso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florentino Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Tabb in the 6th minute of the match. If Zeledon Tabb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's Zeledon Tabb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florentino Herauso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 11 played minutes KaoS Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Noe. 21 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Lebas came free, but Florentino Herauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Igor Lebas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florentino Herauso was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Florentino Herauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Noe, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Narciso Noe scored 0-4 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florentino Herauso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pierluigi Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from M. Agus Young, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Santa Lucia de Merlo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KaoS Futbol Club were winning 0-4.

In the 51st minute Narciso Noe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Santa Lucia de Merlo booed when KaoS Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Noe didn't get a good kick on the ball. KaoS Futbol Club made a substitution. Albino Olayo replaced León Ponzio. Santa Lucia de Merlo made a substitution. Polo Quinteros replaced M. Agus Young. Santa Lucia de Merlo made a substitution. Levan Poggenborg replaced Ermegildo Salamon. A throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game was made by Albino Olayo with Noel Hargrave as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Pascal Som fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierluigi Buffon having to interfere. Florentino Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Noe in the 96th minute of the match. The Santa Lucia de Merlo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KaoS Futbol Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
