Club Athletico Paulistano's Acácio Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Maropoulos in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Cornelio Cesaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Cesaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Acácio Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabinho dos Santos hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Alex Palleschi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Palleschi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Acácio Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cornelio Cesaro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Acácio Lara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cornelio Cesaros short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Acácio Lara to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 91st minute Fabinho dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Fix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Palleschi charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Palleschi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's Donato Izel was substituted for Virgilio Benitez.
