Olov Johnsson scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adam Kiepski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvio Francis charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvio Francis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silvio Francis kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Olov Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Kiepski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VBL Stockholm's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Torbjörn Grönlund in the 35th minute. Torbjörn Grönlund made a great header on VBL Stockholm's corner, it was just that Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s Adam Kiepski managed to reach the ball for a save. VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Shantala in the 37th minute of play. Adam Kiepski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulrik Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carl-Chester Vallgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Ursino, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After the first half VBL Stockholm were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, Olov Johnsson notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s Adam Kiepski. Adam Kiepski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Olov Johnsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adam Kiepski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. With his leg Adam Kiepski managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when VBL Stockholm's Olov Johnsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s zone, Olov Johnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Kiepski came out of the goal and Olov Johnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, VBL Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Ursino came free, but Carl-Chester Vallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77thth minute of the game Olov Johnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s Adam Kiepski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Olov Johnsson sped through Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adam Kiepski. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Ted in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of VBL Stockholm booed when Quien Te iba a Decir..... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Francis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Olov Johnsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VBL Stockholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. VBL Stockholm had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
